Everyone is lying.
You should too.
Claim a hand that might be out there. Outbid the last liar. Or call BS and find out who was bluffing — them, or you.
Four Aces and a wild 2 — Five Aces. The 2 can be anything, so it is the fifth Ace.

Everyone gets one card
Only you can see yours. That is everything you know, and everything they know about you.
- 02
Name a hand that might exist
Not a hand you hold — a hand you think exists across everyone's cards put together. Each claim must beat the last one on the ladder.

Or call BS
Cards go face up. Wrong call, you take a card. Caught a liar, they do. Seven cards and you are out.
The twist that makes it work
Every 2 is wild — it counts as any rank its holder wants. With four natural cards of a rank plus all four wilds, a single rank can reach eight of a kind. There are no straights and no flushes, because suits stop meaning anything the moment a blank card can be an Ace. What is left is a ladder that climbs from a single high card all the way to eight of a kind plus four, and the only question that ever matters: is it actually out there?

Everything people ask about BS Poker
What is BS Poker?+
BS Poker, also called Bullshit Poker, is a bluffing card game. Every player holds a secret hand and takes turns claiming that a poker hand exists somewhere across everyone's cards combined. You either climb to a higher claim or call BS on the last one. Call wrong and you take a card; get caught bluffing and you take a card. Reach seven cards and you are out.
How many players do you need?+
Two to eight. It is sharpest with four to six — enough hidden cards that bold claims are plausible, few enough that your turn comes around quickly.
Are twos really wild?+
Yes, and it is the rule that defines the game. Every 2 counts as any rank you need, so with four natural cards plus four wilds a single rank can reach eight of a kind. That is why the ladder climbs far past anything in standard poker.
Are there straights and flushes in BS Poker?+
No. Because twos are wild, suits and sequences are meaningless. Hands are built purely from matching ranks: singles, pairs, triples, quads, and the two-group hands like full house and fuller house.
What is the highest hand in BS Poker?+
The Mansion — eight of a kind plus four of a kind, written 8+4. It uses twelve cards: four natural cards of one rank plus all four wilds to make eight, and four natural cards of a second rank. Nothing can beat it, so a player facing it can only call BS.
Can you call BS out of turn?+
Yes, if the room has it switched on, which is the default. Any player except the bidder can call the moment a bid lands, and the first call the server receives is the one that counts. It makes big bluffs genuinely risky.
Why would you ever call BS if you might be wrong?+
Because whoever calls BS opens the next round, win or lose. Opening means you set the floor, and you can set it high enough that the turn may never come back around to you. If you call and you are right, the bluffer takes a card and you take the opening bid. If you call and you are wrong, you take a card but you still take the opening bid. You paid a life for tempo, which is often a good trade.
What is a Mansion in BS Poker?+
A Mansion is the highest hand in the game: eight of one rank plus four of another, written 8+4. It takes twelve cards — four natural cards of a rank plus all four wilds to make eight, then four natural cards of a second rank. Nothing beats it, so a player facing a Mansion can only call BS.
Is BS Poker free to play?+
Completely. There is no signup, no download and no real-money wagering. Open a table, share the four-character code, and play in the browser on any device.
